Data Deletion

PluginSuggest gives you control over your account and the personal data associated with it. Use the steps below to request permanent account deletion.

1. Log in to your PluginSuggest account.
2. Open Account and select Security.
3. Find the Delete account section.
4. Confirm the request and select Schedule Account Deletion.
5. Your account will be scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day recovery period.

You can cancel the scheduled deletion from your account during those 30 days.

Your account remains scheduled for deletion for 30 days so you can recover it if the request was made by mistake. Community actions are restricted while deletion is pending. If you cancel the request before the deadline, your account remains active.

When the 30-day period ends, PluginSuggest permanently deletes your WordPress user account and associated profile data, uploaded profile picture, saved plugin bookmarks, upvotes, helpful-review votes, and connected social-login identity records.

Reviews, replies, and other comments you previously posted are retained only as anonymized community content. They are detached from your account and shown as Deleted User, with the associated email address and profile URL removed.

If you used Facebook, Google, X, or GitHub to sign in, deleting your PluginSuggest account also removes the social account identifier linked to your PluginSuggest user record. PluginSuggest does not store your social-provider password and does not permanently store OAuth access or refresh tokens for sign-in.

You can also remove PluginSuggest from the connected apps section of your social provider at any time.

If you cannot log in or cannot complete the deletion request, use our Contact page and request account deletion. Contact us from the email address associated with your PluginSuggest account when possible. We may need to verify account ownership before processing the request.
