I see AAWP as a presentation and product-data tool first. If your main problem is shortening affiliate links from many different networks, a dedicated link manager is usually a cleaner fit. If your content depends on showing Amazon products consistently across reviews and roundups, AAWP is much closer to the actual workflow.

What AAWP is built to do

AAWP takes Amazon product identifiers and turns them into structured elements inside WordPress. Instead of manually copying product titles, images, prices, and buttons into every review, you can use product boxes, data fields, bestseller lists, and comparison tables that pull product information through supported Amazon data connections.

This matters because Amazon product details can change. A data-driven display reduces manual maintenance compared with hard-coding product information into dozens of posts.

Product boxes

Product boxes combine key product information, image, pricing data when available, and calls to action into a reusable affiliate display. They are useful in single-product reviews and recommendation sections where a normal text link would be easy to miss.

Pricing checked September 18, 2026. Annual pricing starts at €79/year for one site. The three-site license is €129/year, five sites €199/year, and ten sites €299/year. Prices are listed before tax.

AAWP also currently sells lifetime licenses: €299 one-time for one site, €499 for three sites, €699 for five sites, and €899 for ten sites. The current pricing page says lifetime licenses include updates and support.

The optional AAWP API Access service is separate and paid. It is intended to provide Amazon product data when a publisher does not have access to the official Amazon API, so that cost should be evaluated separately if you need it.

What changed in AAWP 5.x

The 2026 releases are more than maintenance updates. Version 5.0 introduced Amazon Creators API support, and later updates improved product data handling, migration, click tracking, and compatibility. Version 5.1.0 also raises the minimum PHP requirement to 8.1 and notes WordPress 7.1 compatibility.

That PHP requirement is important for older hosting environments. A publisher running legacy PHP should verify the server before buying or updating.

AAWP compared with Lasso

Lasso combines product displays with a broader affiliate platform, analytics, localization, and multi-property workflows. AAWP is more narrowly centered on Amazon product presentation inside WordPress. I would compare them based on whether you need a focused Amazon toolkit or a wider affiliate operations platform.

AAWP makes the most sense for Amazon-heavy WordPress sites where product information and display quality are part of the monetization workflow. Its value comes from replacing manual Amazon product blocks with structured, reusable data-driven components.

It is unnecessary for a site that only needs a few Amazon text links. In that case, a simpler affiliate-link manager may be easier to maintain and cheaper.
