SEOPress and All in One SEO are both broad WordPress SEO suites, but their commercial models are very different. SEOPress emphasizes privacy, white-labeling, and predictable multi-site licensing. AIOSEO packages more features by tier and builds a more guided business-facing SEO dashboard around TruSEO, Link Assistant, Search Statistics, and AI credits.
This comparison uses current 2026 pricing and feature availability rather than assuming that two “Pro” licenses unlock the same things.
TL;DR
SEOPress PRO packages schema, redirects, 404 monitoring, Local SEO, WooCommerce SEO, breadcrumbs, AI integrations, and agency-friendly white-label controls at relatively low fixed site-count prices. Dedicated rank tracking remains a separate SEOPress Insights product. AIOSEO offers a more tiered system: Local SEO begins on Plus, Link Assistant and deeper redirect features sit higher, and Search Statistics with keyword rank tracking is positioned on Elite. Paid plans also include AI-credit allocations.
SEOPress vs All in One SEO at a glance
The licensing model changes the comparison
SEOPress PRO currently costs $49/year for 1 site, $59/year for 5 sites, and $149/year for unlimited sites. The feature set is not split into Basic, Plus, Pro, and Elite feature tiers in the same way AIOSEO is.
AIOSEO currently advertises first-year pricing of $49.50 Basic, $99.50 Plus, $199.50 Pro, and $299.50 Elite, covering 1, 3, 10, and 100 sites respectively. Renewals return to the regular $99, $199, $399, and $599 prices.
Redirects and 404 monitoring
SEOPress PRO includes its Redirect Manager and 404 monitoring. AIOSEO also provides redirects and 404 tracking in paid plans, but its deeper redirect features are positioned higher in the tier structure. Large sites should compare the exact redirect rules and logging workflow they need rather than treating “redirects included” as a binary feature.
Schema, Local SEO, and WooCommerce SEO
SEOPress PRO includes automatic/manual schema, Local SEO, and WooCommerce SEO. AIOSEO also supports schema, Local SEO, and WooCommerce SEO, but feature access expands by plan. Local SEO begins on Plus, while additional commerce and schema capabilities are distributed through paid tiers.
Internal linking and rank tracking are packaged very differently
AIOSEO’s Link Assistant is a paid feature positioned on Pro and higher plans. Its Search Statistics and keyword rank tracking are positioned on Elite, making AIOSEO closer to an integrated SEO reporting dashboard at the top tier.
SEOPress PRO includes internal-linking capabilities but keeps dedicated rank and backlink tracking in the separate SEOPress Insights product, currently priced at $99/year per site. This separation can be useful if you want PRO technical SEO without paying for rank tracking on every site.
Privacy and white-labeling
SEOPress makes privacy and white-label deployment a central part of its product. It advertises no tracking/data footprint in the plugin and allows agencies to replace SEOPress branding in the WordPress admin.
AIOSEO is more heavily productized around its own dashboard, guided setup, SEO scoring, audits, Link Assistant, Search Statistics, and other branded workflows. Agencies deciding between them should treat admin presentation and client handoff as part of the buying decision, not just the feature table.
AI features
SEOPress PRO supports AI integrations and now makes AI setup easier in its onboarding flow. AIOSEO paid plans bundle AI credits that scale by tier and can be used for tasks such as titles, descriptions, summaries, FAQs, images, and other content workflows.
AEO and AI-crawler controls
SEOPress has added explicit AI-search features such as llms.txt support and an Agent Readiness control. AIOSEO is also actively building AI-assisted optimization features, but these are not the same thing as controlling how AI crawlers discover or interpret a site. Treat generative-AI writing and AI-discovery controls as separate capabilities.
Workflow fit
SEOPress fits agencies and technical site owners who value white-labeling, privacy, relatively simple multi-site pricing, and the option to buy rank tracking only where it is needed.
AIOSEO fits businesses that prefer a guided all-in-one dashboard and are comfortable moving up the tier structure for Link Assistant, deeper reporting, Search Statistics, keyword rank tracking, and larger AI-credit allowances.
Practical decision notes
SEOPress is positioned around agencies, developers, publishers, and businesses that want a privacy-first, white-label WordPress SEO toolkit, while All in One SEO is positioned around businesses, publishers, WooCommerce stores, and SEO teams that want an all-in-one WordPress SEO workflow. That difference is more useful than counting features: map the product to the workflow your site actually needs to run every week.
Watch the fit: SEOPress is less suitable when small sites that only need automatic metadata and basic sitemap output with minimal configuration. All in One SEO is less suitable when small sites that only need lightweight metadata, canonical, and sitemap controls without scores, reports, or broader SEO modules. Treat those limits as implementation checks rather than absolute drawbacks.
Before switching or buying: SEOPress currently lists $49/year for 1 site; $149/year unlimited; All in One SEO currently lists $49.50/year introductory; $99/year renewal; the setup profiles are SEOPress: intermediate and All in One SEO: beginner-friendly. Recheck the vendor pricing page, then test the actual payment, email, permissions, automation, and data-migration path your production site depends on.
